A vibrant neighborhood snap

Woke up to the bustling sounds of Medellin. The lobby was full of energy, and I enjoyed vibrant cocktails from the bar while mingling with friendly staff.

While the room looked fantastic, the size was a bit tight for us. It worked for our small bags, but larger luggage could be cumbersome.

Loved the beautiful decor and the prime location to party and shop! The rooftop pool is perfect for unwinding after a long day. Staff are super helpful, and it's so easy to get around!

However, the elevator feels like it was designed for hobbits. And don’t even get me started on the shower door—it’s a real workout just to get in and out!

Located right in the heart of a vibrant nightlife area, the soundproofing in the room was exceptional—once inside, there was barely a sound from the bustling streets. Staff friendliness stood out, making the experience feel welcoming. However, the room was on the smaller side and lacked proper shelving for clothing, which became inconvenient. Additionally, the presence of a dance club next door made it challenging to rest if not for the provided earplugs.

The location of Selvario 36 is perfect! Just steps away from lively cafes and bars. The decor struck me right away—such a modern jungle vibe. The rooftop pool has amazing views and creates an inviting atmosphere at night with cool house music. I had a Standard King Room, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Housekeeping kept the room tidy, but I thought they were a bit unpunctual at times. Breakfast on the patio was delightful. it was more than enough and offered a chance to try some local flavors. However, I was disappointed when I was charged for staining a towel and sheets after a coffee spill and some leg makeup. Never experienced this in other hotels, so it felt a bit harsh. Overall, my stay was enjoyable with just a few hiccups.

The hotel's vibe in Provenza is lively, making it perfect for party-goers, and the staff's friendly service really stood out, especially when fixing the shower promptly. However, some noise from the street can be disruptive at night, and room storage is a bit lacking.

It was just a balanced option for a hurried visit in Medellin with definitely value for money. The room was cozy and had a nice view, which was unexpected and added to my stay. Just be prepared for some check-in processes that feel a bit unusual.
